Accounting for interactions among neighborhood deprivation, race, and other neighborhood characteristics may enhance understanding of the association.

Whether in rural areas or frequently moving, these links are crucial. In contrast, for non-Hispanic Black women, despite facing greater neighborhood deprivation, these connections seem less relevant. This raises important questions: What factors contribute to this lack of association? As they navigate upward in the economy, they may face different, yet still impactful, stresses.
