JCPP Advances goes from Strength to Strength with Scopus

ACAMH are delighted to announce that our publication JCPP Advances has been accepted by Scopus. Scopus is a comprehensive abstract and citation database launched by Elsevier in 2004. It covers peer-reviewed literature across various disciplines, indexing over 25,000 titles from more than 5,000 publishers worldwide, providing researchers with a powerful tool for literature discovery and bibliometric analysis.

Scopus selection criteria includes – journal policy, content, journal standing, publishing regularity and online availability. Most importantly, the evaluation of content is done by members who have deep subject expertise and seek out literature that meets the needs and standards of the research community that they represent1.

Prabha Choubina, ACAMH Publications Director said; “Being accepted into Scopus is seen as a mark of quality and credibility in the academic community. Inclusion in Scopus dramatically increases JCPP Advances visibility to researchers worldwide, making its content much more discoverable. It is sure to help attract further high-quality submissions from authors and increase the journal’s overall readership.

Scopus offers various analytics tools that allow journal editors and publishers to track their journal’s performance, analyse trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve the journal’s quality and impact.

Choubina continued; “I encourage authors to submit their work to our journal. Check the published content, and the institutional access to OA funding.”
